Rachel Ice Grandpa February 16, 2015

Grandpa Montery was the most amazing grandpa i could ever ask for. The way i saw Grandpa treat Grandma made me so happy. I always remember spending days with grandma and grandpa, and i would always just jump around the house, and ever since then I was always known as bunny rabbit. I will always be grandpas little bunny rabbit. Grandpa always had a smile on his face when he saw Grandma Glenda. I couldn't of asked for a better Grandpa. The way grandpa treated grandma Glenda was amazing, he always told her how much he loved her and how amazing she was, he is the best man in the world. I still can't believe that he is gone but i know that he is in a better place and he is with grandma again and thats all he wanted was Grandma. Grandpa would do aynthing for anyone if it was to help someone. Grandpa will always be someone i can look up to and i know he will be there for me. Every picture of grandma and grandpa you could see the love in his eyes, he always had a smile on his face, he was such an amazing man and i am going to miss him so much. I love you so much grandpa, words can not describe how much i love you. Rest in paradise grandpa.

Monterey was my Grandpa.  He was everything a Grandpa could be.  He was caring, comforting, honest,
he was a mentor, a shoulder to lean on and an ear to bend.  I am so thankful that I was able to spend a
little extra time with him the last couple of years.  Every time we spoke, he never wanted to talk about
himself or any problems he was going through, he only wanted to hear about me and my family and all the
things we had going on in our lives.  That was just the kind of man Monterey was.  He was honestly the
sweetest man I have ever known.  The one thing that I loved most of all about Monterey was how much
he loved my Grandma, Glenda.  Every time we spoke, he never failed to mention how much he missed her.
I love you Monterey and I will miss you so much!  I love you Grandpa.

Monterey was a big man in size, however he was bigger in heart. He was loved by all who knew him. I love and miss him so very much. We would often talk about things on our computers. I can still hear his laugh. We lived far apart but was close in talking over the phone. He knew about his heart problem and learned to live as best he could. Now he is at peace resting with Mom Chloe and Aunt Helen. I love you my brother.

Lana Rowlette-Pasco "Big Ole Teddy Bear" February 5, 2015

Monterey was in my home-room class. We had some sort of bond from the get go.
I always knew that @ 4'10" and 115 lbs. (High School weight) He would protect me from any harm that may come my way.

He was just a "big ole teddy bear" in my eyes. My only regret is not having him around after we all parted and went our separate ways. God bless his family. He will be in my prayers tonight.
